Redesigning E.B. White's "quintessential love letter to the city", and reimagining the reader's reading experience for Here is New York. This 100-inch long foldout accordion book was redesigned and typeset on a simplified grid of Manhattan. As you read through White's macro and micro level descriptions of New York City, waypoints take you to the actual location on the "map", encouraging readers to read the book more like a map, than a traditional linear book.
